Dr. K SWETHA
Dr. Swetha K, M.B.B.S, M.D(Pediatrics), FNNF (Neonatology) is a distinguished Paediatrician and Neonatal intensivist in Bangalore with a robust medical background. She had done her primary medical graduation from Karnataka and completed her post-graduation in Pediatrics from Dr NTR University of health sciences, Andhra Pradesh. Following her residency, she pursued fellowship in neonatology in Rainbow Hospital - New Delhi, under National Neonatology Forum, specializing in the care of premature and extreme low birth weight infants.
She is also trained in Neonatal Point of care ultrasonography (POCUS), enhancing her ability to providing compassionate care for newborns prioritising their health and well-being and is one of the faculties in Neoscan.
She has an overall experience of 14 years in the field of Pediatrics and Neonatology working at reputed institutions like Apollo Hospitals, GLengales Global Hospitals and Rainbow Hospitals at Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi.
Clinical expertise:
Neonatal ventilation, Management of extreme preterm and low birth weight babies, complex neonatal conditions like PPHN, HIE involving therapeutic hypothermia, neonatal sepsis, neonatal nutrition, chronic lung disease and NEC.
Her pediatric expertise spans preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of childhood illnesses and developmental concerns. She is a skilled doctor in monitoring growth and development, administering vaccinations, managing acute and chronic conditions, and providing guidance on nutrition, behavior, and overall child wellness.
